i cant remember for the life of me the name of an illustrator who has a 50's style "comic book". He has appeared in Print magazine several times i believe. His comics can be pretty dark (im not reffereing to color). Usually they are in neutral tones. Also, usually in the back, he has instructions on how to build some type of absurd machine. Anyone? thanks.

no, not rube goldberg. thanks though. the drawings are very linear. thick strokes. no shading. kind of remind me of the illustrations for monopoly.
