The cheapest I would try are as follows. You will have to look up the nubers yourself at Yell.com or whatever. Haggle whe you call them too. Thyre pretty dead this time of year....

The Kings Hotel, Kingswest, Brighton.
Try this first: The Oriental Hotel, Oriental Place, Brighton. If none of these are cheap enough search for one in Kemp Town. Its a bit out of te way (and a wee bit gay!) but there are loads over there to chose from (B&B's).
