Anyone know how I can get Crop marks made in illustrator to show up when I save the file as a PDF?

make a rectangle around what you want. then use the crop mark filter.
should do the trick.

Make a box or shape where you need your crop marks. Then apply your crop marks: Object>Crop Marks>Make

i've had intermittent problems with the object>crop marks>make filter ripping to pdf before. when it happens, i just make my own crop marks. it only takes a few seconds to do.

Thanks for the quick response.
I don't have a problem making the crop marks in illustrator, it's just that they disappear when I make a PDF version of the file.
I ended up just making them by hand (thanks testpilot). I spent a good hour and a half searching online and help files, then just did it manually in 10 min.

glad i could help. i couldn't find any documentation as to why that error happens either. weirdness.
