i'm in the process of designing my first business cards for a friend. they're for a custom furniture/construction business. any chance you guys might give me some constructive critism or at least pick your faves?

I like this for it's simplicity and has a modern look to it.
I would probably make the type on the top smaller and space out the contact info so the space is more evenly distributed.
I like the outline of the wood grain. The subtleness makes it more cleaver than the ones that have the actual image of the wood grain.

I would go for 2 sided. Print it on paper that has texture to give off a wood chip like feeling.
have one side be brown with the company name the other a light tan.

i like the last one on the bottom. if you do go with a two-sided card, maybe have the house logo on the second side. Give it a solid fill and put the web site address underneath, loosely kerned. i dunno...maybe?
