so why is it that many of you don't have personal websites on your profiles?
i'm not trying to start shit, i'm just curious. i've got my site linked even though it's shite, because i feel that's part of hanging out here: showing your skills, regardless of the level they're at, trying to learn from each other, putting up with the flames and the misdirected hostility... you know, all that community stuff.
maybe you don't have a personal site. that's a perfectly good reason for not linking to one.

it will be simple plain html..with just listing of my work...no fancy flash etc..

i agree 4cy. I love Flash but when it comes to showing my portfolio, I just want the basics. Nothing to take away from what people really came to see: THE WORK.

never had the time to care about a personal site. too busy with client projects, work projects and personal projects to put up a site that only serves to glorify me...i've never cared for personal fluff sites.

haha, i had mine up for a long time and then dismantled it completely. bought a new domain and it should be up pretty soon.
lots of us are print people though, so websites are not a priority.

every single interactive designer i know has a really hard time putting together their website....
i personally went trough 3 or 4 different designs by now...
working on the 5th...

i think this is a very interesting question, but it is not as funny as it seems. since we all are constantly evolving in our skills in this young media, we change moods all the time. this is a problem for me despite the fact i have made some nice work it just doesn't feel right anymore. but you are right, thats something to improve...

Why don't ya guys leave some padding between the border of box/cell and the text?
It looks way better with some space.
