In dwMX one can place images above eachother using layers. But is it possilbe with .swf files? The dwMX help doesn't seem to tell anything about it, but when I put images in a layer above a layer with swf movie it only shows the swf.

dont think so, flash always sits on top.

Flash don't buy layer z-sorting....it will always jump to the top....

you can make flash movies transparent, i believe, but it'll only work in a limited number of browsers.

will dhtml work?
i used to dick around with throwing images one atop the other. never tried it with swfs though.
http://www.w3schools.com/dhtml should be able to tell you. the code isnt hard and you can basically just copy and paste from w3schools IF it will work at all for swfs.
