I need to make a digital portfolio of artwork to send to clients in CD form. Is there a simple appication I can use to do this that is available for Mac? Thanks..

no?

If you have access to it, I would use Flash.
You can compile both Mac and PC projectors.
Then burn a Mac/PC hybrid CD and your set.

You could make it in HTML quick and easy.

Can't tell you what the name is, I can't remember. But bear in mind that you'd have to "pre-process" all your art work through Photoshop, illustrator,
-of course you know that... You could make a Flash Projector movie, saved onto disc as an executable named "Start", or just make the whole thing a Quicktime. But you'd possibly have to use another party's Flash Projector movie producing software. Otherwise it'll use the audiences native browser to launch, and thats probably what you wouldn't want. I've made some before when flash 4 was en vogue. The site was a projector movie launched in a chomeless.borderless window that took up the whole screen. Pretty slick idea for CD portfolio presentations. Maybe Director is the answer?

Actually you can publish a stand alone projetor directly from flash.

Thanks alot. I'm going to try it in Flash, and if that fails, Director.

yep.
recommend that as well....
Projectors are excellent....that's how I fix my cd-rom's...no need for browsers or other apps or anything..just let 'em click the file and off they go...
I always put a note on the sleeve which one they need to open..
and for loading external files: I put them in one folder and both projectors get their resources from there.
