so in chicago it's been bitter cold lately. but today we're being coated by a ton of snow. and somehow it just makes the day brighter.

we got about 10 feet in like a week over christmas.
since then we've just had little dustings 10cm here and there...had a big storm blow in last week for about 4 days but the freezing level was around mid-mountain and higher...so mostly just wet.
they're calling for another storm to move in on Thurs, hopefully the freezing level stays in the valley.
jox: march is typically a pretty good time, if there is no new snow you'll prolly have nice warm sunny days.

you in the city, kona? i'm in the NW burbs, but i do love driving in the snow. i'll be finding an empty parking lot later tonight to test my traction control in large circular patterns...
what i don't like about the snow is people who don't know how to drive in it, and drive 20mph.

actually i work in schaumburg and live in bloomingdale. a quick hop skip and jump gets me downtown on the weekends.

I think it's brighter because snow has a higher refraction coefficient than regular pavement.
