my boss is asking me what i'm doing with my travel budget this year...
anybody know of any good design conferences coming up?
what about the HOW design conference? is it worth a damn?

i just checked the HOW mailer. it looks kinda lame. I went to one in '99 and didnt think it was worth a piss.
I tried checking AIGA's site but I couldnt find info on their conference...

yeah. i went to the how one last year and it really sucked. didnt learn anything at all.. and all there was to do was go to disney.. blah!

sxsw in austin, coming up in march.

not really a conference, but we are having a BD4D event in Atlanta on Feb. 21. admission is free. should be adding one more to the list of already amazing speakers today (hopefully)

yeah, i'll be going to sxsw. should be good. looks like josh davis is getting the spotlight he deserves this time around. (last year, his smaller session was jam-packed.)
