So I have heard that CRT's are better that LCD/TFT for graphic design.. right!?
Anyone using an Apple Cinema Display? Recommending it?

I so do not agree with what you've been told...LCD absolutely rocks CRT, imo.

Get the formac gallery 2010
20" monitor for 1700 bucks, rates much better than the Apple and has proprietary technology that fixes some of the issues w/ LCD displays:

Im not sure it really matters unless your doing hardcore colour correction for print, which most GD’ers don’t do. Even so, any monitor that is used for that purpose, needs calibrating every week or so.

reason for CRT is soley because it is what most people use... colors are much brighter on LCD, so if you design on LCD, most people are likely to see a dark site on their CRT. so if you remember that and have a setting to change brightness to limit the difference when testing, you're in good shape.
