sup, i always design in 72, and was doing so yesterday, and then after a while, i wanted to adjust my font points, and i found that they were at 154 pt or something when it was originally 14 pt! so i check my resolution and its 8.5 !???
so as a test i make a new file of 72 res and drag some elements from my file (which is now 8.5) into the 72 res one, and everything is fine. what gives?

the internet resolution is now about @700.4... oh shit, sorry, that was the internet time! duh!
no, seriously, you have an image that has a reso of 8.5? pixels/inch?
could be the software is auto-resizing the reso when moving over different images, but that sounds strange.. what software are you using?

hey guys,
im using photoshop 6, and this happened to me before...it seems some point along the way, the resolution is changed to 8.5 . im thinking to myself this should totally distort my images, yet, when i drag them onto a document that has a 72 resolution, they appear perfectly fine....is it because im working back and forth with illustrator pasting paths back and forth and stuff? its so wierd.anyhow thanks for your attempt to respond to this phenomenom, because im clueless as to why it happens.

try printing them and see what happens. :)
