Vector movie graphics HELP!

Hello
I have been asked to do some short vector animations similar in style to......
........i have some video footage that i would like to capture and convert into this vector style. What do you think is the easiest way of going about this. I am a pc user.
Any help appreciated.

something I did a while back, kinda sloppy but it was my first try.

exported video from premiere as frames, imported them to ps7, ran an action on all frames, imported new frames in flash and ran macro in flash to trace all frames. as I said it was the first time I did it and I would probably use wildform now, but it was my first attempt. Thanks for the props.

First attempt a few years back at converting video into animation.

similar technique to mrdobolina but cut out each frame in ps. I think you may have trouble getting the subtlety of your illustrator's work unless you handtrace. Streamline turns frames into vectors as well.

It seems if i want a clean traced animation, then it will have to be done by hand.............oh dear.

i've done it before, cut every 3rd frame from imovie, altered thresholds in pshop, dumped in flash as a anim gif and then traced each keyframe and tweened between. there's probably an easier way tho

try to use flix, I havent had a chance yet.

Yeah Flix looks ok, a bit crude in its tracing though - thats the thing. There is not much choice in adjustment like you get with tracing bitmap in flash or more ideally tracing by hand.
I suppose i am being lazy hoping there is some wizard of a program that will do all the donkey work for me.
Any one fancy helping me trace a few hundred frames of film for a DVD, tv animation!!!??!

shit yeah err - i remember that from yesteryear - took forever and a day to load on a dial up - was one of the first things that impressed me with flash vector motion online naked girl type stuff.
