Hello, I've just redesigned my site
and I was hoping to get a bit of feedback on useability, general design etc of the site. Any help appreciated.

Nice!

A very elegant site.
Love the idea behind the navigation. Although to the inexperienced visitor it might seem a little confusing.
Typography was well done. Very quick download times. Great site!

Really good. Was a little confused at the very start when I clicked on Print work. But got used to it. Great work!

Bluejam, I was kind of worried about the navigation, where you have to click yes to progress. I couldn't really think of a better way to trigger stuff though.
We are a smallish design company (5 employees) and we were trying to make the site a bit easier for prospective clients to get around. With the best will in the world, not all of our clients are really internet savvy and sometimes struggle to find stuff. So basically I tried to make the text the basis for the design and lead them to a choice. I thought that once you work out the first couple of clicks you'll know how the rest of the site works.

Love it! Nice bouncy type action too. It doesn't matter of course but I found it abit too many clicks to actually view anything and I personally don't like to see work cropped with a link - I can never be bothered to go to the site. Err... but maybe I'm just lazy! Great job tho. :-)

Clique, thanks for your thoughts. I'm starting to worry that there are too many clicks to see stuff. What I was trying to do was help our clients find the three or four sites that may relate directly to them so they don't have to just guess from a portfolio of 15-20. Lots of our clients who want a shopping cart for instance, just ask to see sites with one on, so we figured it would be easier to ask if thats what they wanted to see in our portfolio.
I personally like the little crops, as I think they tend to tease people into looking at stuff, but I know what you're saying.

Hey. blimey. Someone who hasn't taken offence on here! Nice one.
Ignore. Tease away. It's v.cool as it is.

I can't really take offence if I've asked for peoples opinions. I need to know stuff so I can improve what I've done. You know what it's like if you've been looking at the same stuff for a while. You don't notice bits that don't work etc.
