AE Rendering

  Has anyone messed with multi-CPU rendering in AE? My school has 5.5 production bundle and a billion computers... I can't get it to work/wondering the best way to go about using it...

  Follow the instructions provided in AE onlline help ("help" menu).
  It's pretty straght forward after you follow instructions once-through.
  I have it working at the studio I'm at (2 OS X G4s, one is a dually).

  so what's the best way to render out a big movie
  (I have to do stuff at 720x486)
  The manual says that you can't split up a .mov file...What's your technique?

  render as .pct or .tif sequence over the network.

  re-render seq as .mov
