Ferrets (Nippus Nastius) make fabulous pets.
Some people think that ferrets are wild animals, but this is not true; they are domestic pets just like your cat or dog. In fact, they could not survive if they were turned loose outside. When raised with love and understanding, ferrets are affectionate companions and house pets who will thrive on your attention and care.
I keep mine, Frisky, up my trouser leg. He's a friendly little critter and likes nothing more than popping his head out and nibbling small morsels all day.

anyone who has ever seen The Beastmaster knows this.

I find Frisky gets a little nervous round tattooing time. He becomes increasingly reluctant to pop out.
So no. Although any rabbit tattooing that goes wrong keeps Frisky happy.

The only problem with ferrets is walkies. Ferrets natural habitat is drainpipes. Walking them does present problems... I keep falling off the roof.
Any suggestions?

my flatmate put his parka in the wash last night. he had to take off the furry collar to put it in the wash. he comes through holding it and moving it like a ferret - i was pissing myself laughing it looked sooooo fucking real.

I once had a ferret. He was stinky. I named him Furtus Octavius - Roman God of the Ferrets.

I also keep something hairy, large and rather friendly down my trouser leg, and occaisionally pop him out so that I can give him a stroke.
