Does anyone have a Pantone to CMYK conversion book to hand? If you do what's the conversion from P644c to CMYK please.
Is it safe to convert Pantone to CMYK using Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark etc? I seem to remember them giving different values to each other and to the book when I tried this before.
Thanks,

naw, it's not safe, then it wouldn't be a need for pantone colours... Your best bet is to find out the "reccomended" conversion, I have a feeling that the automated conversions are a bit inexact. I don't think they're "hard coded"

Phubar, those are just RGB and Hex colours, useful but no good for this as it's a print job. Cheers anyway.
Knew I should have pilfered the Pantone collection when my old company closed down, damn my honesty :(

Fuck! I was just going to complain about Pantone forcing us to buy their extremely expensive books and I checked the site in case I was going to be unfair on them and found this little beauty...

Problem solved.
