i've got a project that will be printed in the states and its got a flap on the insideFC, with a cutout for a business card in it. now the question is; uk business cards are roughly 85mmx55mm, but is the american size the same? if anyone could clear this up for me as google hasn't helped, i would be uber grateful!

surely business cards are whatever size you want them..?
why don't you find out what size business cards are gonna be used and make the cutout that size..?

oh, i was looking for the average size of an american bc card. i'm not designing new cards...

it'll be the same surely....... no ones going to be walking round with A3 biz crds are they ;P unless they have bigger walletts. Now theres a question. Maybe you should be looking at the average wallet, rather than the aver biz crd ;P

well ok, i'm gonna do the slot to fit 85x55mm. i just thought that american bc's might be a strange proportion or something. cheers anyway.

normal size is 3.5 x 2 here in the US
