I recieved two t shirts I ordered this week one from you work for them and the second is from threadless.com YWFT T's are from american apparel atleast the one i recieved and its a great t-shirt good quality no complaints. The threadless tshirt which they used FOTL is not bad but I do have one complaint the arms of the t-shirt don't seem to go down when I put my arms down loose the side of the t-shirt are still up.
anyway I heard that american apparel are cutting down on there material?? is this true that the quality is not there anymore this is what I heard from YWFT and they told me they will stop using american apparel anyone else having trouble with the neck part of the american apparel shirts as in the recent ones, im asking is because I really like these shirts and I wanted to print my stuff on them but if there going down in quality then ill reconsider, overall im just curiouse anyone getting same problem with the current american apparel t's?

I've heard from others as well that threadless' shirt quality is questionable
I've also noticed the neck problem on the AA shirts and that is why i chose not to go with them. I'm anal when it comes to the neck of my shirts -- go with the FOTLs

the threadless t-shirt I have is FOTL and its terriable the sides of shirt where the arms go stay up when I put my arms to the side the sides don't follow

100% cotton heavy weight?
- boyintrnet0
I don't believe this its not I was for some reason expecting 100% cotton ahh this is probably why? plus the printing on the shirt seems flaky.

The shirt from YWFT is great quality though why would they go down in quality.

AA decides to cut costs by using cheap materials?
yeah, alot places use those 50/50 blends which for the most part suck

Is it easy to order from American Apparel or do they get anal about tax ID # to see if your a business. I want to order form them but don't want to be a business to do it.
- matt240
It is probably easier to find a distributor in your area who carrys their stuff and contact them.
You might have to buy say $200 worth of product to deal with them but they will deal even if you are not a registered business

think most places deal by the dozen when you order.
- matt240
place i deal with you can buy singles but it costs a little more

F that, i've got the presstube T from Threadless, most comfy shirt i own.
i got one from YWFT, shrunk like a bastard.
AA, American Standard Jersey.
remember, these aren't ghetto baggy T's, these are more fitted.

Matt24, who do you use?
- nuflo0
don't use american app. it's over priced. no one will buy them except boutiques that don't know what they are doing, and pay too much. they won't re-order when they get stuck with some of it. some bigger buyers will not accept americn loser anymore.

skonge - I use Fruit of the Loom 100% Cotton Heavyweights

i got a shirt from ywft and one from threadless...
the actual 'body' part of the shirts have no seams at all...
now that's smart eh..?
but they're both great quality shirts...
that arms sticking up thing could be because the shirt is new. Heavier weight material can be a little 'stiff' when new...
it should calm down after a while though...

cant go wrong with BVD's

i got the ywft and threadless and d-rush. d-rush's quility is the best, ywft is second and threadless last, but threadless's fit is nice but shrank loads first wash...
