Can anyone tell me the difference between a men's jersey T and a Baby Rib T
both from american apparel, the description on there site dosn;t tell me what the difference is or atleast i not getting it.

I think a jersey t is regular t-shirt - ribbed is like the condom. Its got lines or ribs down it

the jersey t is a regular t-shirt. the baby rib t is fitted tight.

yeah, jersey is a flat knit like most tees, but rib is another kind of knit that has up and down alternating rows. like a wife beater. it's a bit more form fitting, good for the girlies, or the faggies. probably more expensive too.

American Apparel SUCKS! But Ribbed garments are garments that are made of columns of knit cotton. Like a Bennie, it can expand a lot. Not good for screen printing, flock or embroidery. American Apparels girls garments are mostly BABY RIB... and it blows. Jersey is a fairly flat fabric that doesn’t expand a lot. It has give but not expand able like ribbed garments. You have a lot of other types of garments, the best thing to do is hook up with a seamstress and learn about twills, jersey, knits and all the rest.
