i recently discovered this link to a series of PHPMyAdmin alternatives, but i haven't tried none yet, with the exception of eskuel. In french.

I thought Bradley was just being some sort of smartass, but that looks like some nice stuff. I like mySQL Front though.

eskuel sounds good. I dont see any documentation on the site though. Do you install it on your server the same as phpmyadmin? Is it free?
Im having problems getting phpmyadmin to work.

I'm using it locally, but i think it works same way on a remote server. The first time you install, run the index.php and it will install automatically (depending if you have username and password previleges to acess your database). Beleive you can't beat that 'user friendliness'...

Ess Que Ell, is ok but it cannot beat PHPmyAdmin.

I tried install phpmyadmin and got this:
Fatal error: Failed opening required './libraries/grab_globals.lib.ph... (include_path='.:/php/includes... in /home/www.domain.com/public_html... on line 9This sucks. Ill probably never get it to work. Im going to try again soon.

bedouin, have you used eskuel?
and does this baby to be installed on the server (like by the server admin) or can a poor user like me make it work as well?
- unknown0
PHPmyAdmin and EEsquel are easy to install. I don't think anyone should have problems installing. But yes everyone usually gets stuck if they are doin for the first time.

but can i install it without having admin priviledges? i mean i have a hosting account, can i use it there? or do i have to go through the hosting company?
- unknown0
