If I print a design on a American Apparel T-Shirt Would I be able to sell it? or would that be illegal? Im asking is there like kinda a protection against doing that as if you have to make your own t's?
- mrdobolina0
you can sell it, but I wouldnt advise it. those shirts may be nice, but no blank t is worth
$15 US.

Permission to print on AA T-shirts
No, permission isn't required. We cater to the
imprintable industry and designers such as yourself.I guess the facts answered it for me but thanks for your reaction aswell mrdobolina...
I know 15$ is a bit pricy but If It's a good quality T then I won't mind because I want people who buy them to feel good about what they bought but im definatly gonna look around thanks for the input always appreaciate it...

I'd go with 100% Heavy Cotton fruit of the looms - picked up 35 yesterday for $4 each - and that is CANADIAN!! so its like $0.05 US

Glad I could help. you could go with Hanes Beefy T's which are excellent shirts for right around $5 US per unit. Maybe less depending on how many you order. Check around locally for t-shirt prices. Shipping 100 shirts across country or even a few states can seriously affect the price you pay per unit. Also, with the economy the way it is, you may be able to wheel and deal with some local shirt dealers.
look in your local phone book under 't-shirts' and/or screenprinting. If you have any questions about screenprinting, myself and BonSeff are good resources as we have done a gang of it. Glad to be of service.

Matt's right, FOL 100% Heavy 's are decent shirts and they arent made in indonesian sweatshops, more like jamaican sweatshops...HAHA

yep - I've bought FOTL a couple times and I'm really happy with the quality of them. Colours are the best - The whites shrink up a little more but the colours rock

right on Matt, I have used Gildan in the past. There was this company in LA called Frank Robinson a few years back that had like 10 different shades of brown and other sick colors. Gildan swallowed up the company, I think.

if you go through a wholesaler you can get American Apparel shirts for like $4 each.

Can I get Tagless T-Shirts from American Apparel or the others ?
- Spix0
AmericanApperal aint 15 dollar each, they are around 5 if you buy one and 3,5 if you buy a dussin...but they dont do tag less, but if you buy 5000 they put your own tag in, but if you got that much t-shirts it's better and alot cheaper to get them from Asia.

Does anyone do tagless T-Shirts so I can Tag my own in?
- boyintrnet0
I got a T from YWFT they added there own Tag but you can tell the old one was ripped out and a new one was placed in not very noticable great shirt overall.
- matt240
You have to find a place that will rip out the tags and retag them with you own tags
Of course, there are costs associated with this
Gilden is also good - I haven't used them but my brother's band has and they have no complaints
This place, Gaults, does re-labeling

I was thinking of printing my tags like hanes but I want shirts with out tags....I guess I can do that but it will make a mess in the back won't it?
- shant0
There are places called "garment finishing" that will even undo the neck, remove the tag, and then resew your tag back into the neck for a cost.
- matt240
I wouldn't do it yourself. You'll probably end up wrecking a bunch of shirts.
Find a tailor in your area. They should be able to remove them for you.
