I'm a Yank who has been devouring "The Streets" CD Pirate Material. My question is regarding UK slang: What's a GEEZER?
Cheers!

Bloke, Dude, Chap.
I get the idea. Assumed it was more specific. Thanks!

if you want to get deeper a true 'geezer' would be of the loafer and buckle, ralph lauren shirt and reebok classic wearing kind, a football loving, lager drinking buffoon with a tendency towards tasteless jewellery (esp. name bracelets and sovereign rings).
Also partial to after hours violence.
ps. I hate geezers.

Can be applied to someone considered a little bit dodgy, possibly slightly criminal in some way.

Now it's making more sense. Great album by the way...Top Ten of 2002.
