I have a new Tablet PC and find that when I set the resolution to 800*600 I get serious pixel shifting. Anyone have any idea how this could be fixed? At 1024 * 768 it's clear as day. The reason I ask is I built a Flash app to be displayed on it and it's 800*600, the display just looks like crap at that res and I don't want to make the app scale to fullscreen since it hold a number of bmps. Any suggestions would be wicked - their tech support didn't have any answers.

im not really sure. but my notebook is hi res at 1600x1200 and my pc is set to 1280x960. when i link the 2 i have to drop my res on my notebook to match my pc. the 1600x1200 screen is lousy at this res. i asked Dell and they said this was true, nowt could be done. the screen is only good at the hi res.

this is normal for LCD screens... it's not like CRT that have multiple 'native' resolutions... there are only 1024x768 pixels there, and it needs to use one-and-a-bit pixels to fake a 800x600 resolution...

I thought this might be the case. It seems like the screen is a pixel off (the ratio being just a bit off). I just thought they would be able to compensate for this somehow, it's such a poor display.
