I just scored a project where I have to create an ad and media kit (for a well known candy company) aimed at the children and tween markets. But I can't find a single example of this style of design that doesn't suck ass. If anyone can point me towards something with bright colors and wacky shapes that also doesn't look like something a cartoon character threw up... I'd be ever in your debt.
Thanks!

sounds like you need to visit the cereal section of your local grocery store.
youll find tons of cereal aimed at kids (sounds dangerous haha) but anyway, i think that would be a good place to start looking.
hope it turns out well for ya!

have a look at DR's japanesey stuf. although aimed at an older audience it's bright and funky and would appeal to youngers.
