When is it right and proper to say 'STOP"...may i suggest that each verbal "Stop!" should be accompanied by a written "Stop!" delivered at approximately the same time frame - that is, to say-immediately, within an hour of the incident or certainly within 24 hours, IF a pen is at hand!!! A tried and tested method is (Preferably delivered in a serious manner, but never yell or appeal shrill or decidely queenish.)
''You wouldn't want someone to say [ or do] that to your mother (especially), your sister or your daughter. So don't say [ or do] it to me. Just stop it.RIGHT!!! OK!!! RIGHT"
OR, alternatively you can hastily send a copy of your "Stop!" to somebody...

You mean like knowing when to quit? Yeah, I think sometimes it's important to know that. Just stoping to give it a rest and continue later can give better results than keep going at something that you're either too tired or missing info to complete.
Yeah!!!
