FLASH chops images????

so flash is kinda chopping up some of the images i put into it sometimes...for an example of what i'm talking about...visit my site and go to the pyramex section...
there's the mock up of a CD, and it's obviously screwed up...
it's a jpeg...i used this example because it's so obvious...
anyone have any ideas on this?

did you change any of the properties for the image?

change image into movie clip... put it at 99% alpha.

tweens from 1% to 99% and if you're ever putting vectors over a bitmap, make a buffer layer with a 0% alpha graphic in between the vector and bitmap.
some work-arounds for that pixel-pop issue.

Once you've placed your image in a movie clip, it helps to offset the jpg so none of it touches the centre crosshair.

yup. placing the imported image at 1,1 inside the movie clip, (and thus avoiding the crosshairs) has worked like gold for me.
