Alright I have a problem. I've just finished redesiging a clients site, I did the original site and got paid a year ago and just recently they wanted it redesigned... so I did it. Ended up going with a popup window with an iframe, that contained the body pages of the site. The previous version was page based, each content page had its own html file. They stressed on getting search engine hits, and I got them some. Now since we've switched to the iframes version, the search engines are referring to the body pages only, and the viewers aren't getting the GUI of the site. The clients discussing a complete overhaul now, and we had agreed on this format idea as being the better solution before, for several reasons. They seem to think all of their traffics from search engines for one. But what I'm trying to do is offer them a easier solution and save myself some time. IS there an easy way to redirect from search engines... I've found one jscript that redirects based on a url, but I'm wondering if there's any other solutions then listing every search engine i can think of in a jscript at the top of the html.... ?? Anyone else have this type of problem before... thanks for any help suggestions...

write a little script that will either pop the content pages into the frame or bring them to the homepage should the page load without its frame.
I've seen this done before. But I can't direct you to any examples.

i put a script into the individual pages at http://ninchat.com that puts them back into their appropriate frameset when opened individually.
