it's that time again... annual review. i want to propose a new job title.
currently my job title is:
Online Services Assistantwhich sounds like i answer phones and do tech support and little graphic editing/html work.
where in reality i am responsible for a whole lot more:
+coldfusion development
+style guidelines
+research new technologies
+consultant
+flash
+html
+css
+heading up several redesign initiatives to a large Content Management System
+site architecture
+site design/aesthetics
+etc.our site gets over 300,000 user sessions a month. and it's only me and my superior working on the site.
he has a cool title:
internet applications development manageroverall, i'm more of the link between front end and back end, where he is mostly back end.
what can my new job title be?

Whatever you choose - lose the assistant, especially if it's just you and another guy.
Sounds to me like you could go with
Online producer/programmer
- Blofeldt0
What about
internet applications development designeror:
internet applications designer
- dstlb0
internet applications development manager's assistant
- Chickenhands0
middle end interweb synergiser.
- nonakedflame0
applications development
e-tailerapplications development
specialistapplications development architect
applications development visionary

if he's the internet applications development manager, and you're the only thing he manages, then surely you should be the internet applications developer?
choose a job title based on what you want your next job to be. if you're going to go for development jobs, don't call yourself a designer. if you want to cover both, what about
design and development officer: internet applications
or something like that?
