Aight, so I bought a WiFi,
where are your favorite spots in nyc to get free online wireless access?

yea, i use that site, but i was more curious about finding places to sit and work on the weekends ya know--like public spaces/cafes--but i would prefer something better than starbucks,
especially downtown. imagine having a really nice coffee and snacks while you're coding! seeking this sort of 21st century urban bliss.

alot of Starfucks have WiFi networks, but you have to sign up for some shit.

when it's warmer out, go to Bryant Park, the city & NYCwireless setup an open hotspot there....
I think there's a cafe on MacDougal or Bleeker within range of somebody's wifi antenna as well .....
Pickup a copy of Netstumbler or Macstumbler... it'll help you find open nodes around town....
