Thank you for your kind welcome, lifeinbinary, or shold I say Mr. Saf?
It is not going very well, since no matter how high our level of coöperation to the UN inspections, the US keep blaming us almost everything.
We have nothing. And we do not support terror. Mr. BinLadin does not like us and we don't like Mr.BinLadin. And I am not a muslim even! I was born a christian!
http://inic.utexas.edu/meclass/a…Now this might not be the proper topic for political discussion, so I will end this subject here for now.
You might find more of my opinions in the Iraq vs. NKorea and US vs. NKorea threads.
I also want to bring this again to everyone's attention: http://www.newstoday.com/docs/sh…

I had no idea that Iraq was not included in the list of countries. That's a bit harsh I think. But you've been to Kuwait before do it shouldn't be too bad. But this try not to set the oil wells on fire.
Mr. Tariq Aziz, you hang in there and lets all hope for peace. In the meantime maybe we can show you how to make a wallpaper or two.

That, mr. lifeinbinary, would be so nice.
You already read about my wish to become a famous Iraqi graphic designer?
I was even thinking of starting my carreer by helping organize a BD4D here in Baghdad, I have good contacts with some nice teahouses here...but I guess with the current threat of war I'd better postpone this idea for now.
I do find many inspiring links here AND I also keep track with opinions on the threat of war, thanks to a variety of topics here.
One question for now:
What does 2A mean? I see that everywhere. Thanks in advance.
Yours,
- lifeinbinary0
Mr. Aziz, I am not sure but I beleive 2A means 2Advanced. I myself don't know much about the wicked ways of design.
And that BD4D idea sounds great. From Baghdad perhaps you can spread to other countries in that region too. We dont have that many designers here from that part of the world. It'll be great to see what kind of design practices they follow.

I will see what I can do.
In my profile you can find a link to some Iraqi artists, the site could have been designed better I must say.
You are a nice US citizen, lifeinbinary.
And I thank you for your warm comments.I could only wish your government was a bit more like you.
Yes, I must admit Saddam is not an angel either, but together with the UN, we try to prevent a huge massacre here.
It's just not fair.
If we survive you will be the first I invite for the BD4D to be held somewhere in the beautiful center of Baghdad.
Thanks again.
Yours,
- lifeinbinary0
I checked out that site Mr. Aziz. Unfortunately the only graphic designer listed is Rafa' Al-Nasiri. His work really is bad ass though. Would love to see some more work of designers from that part of the world.
And thank you for the invitation. I look forward to the opening of BD4D.
