okay, this should be an easy one, but I want to hear all the different ways people do this.
I am presenting a video installation in a gallery and need to create an infinite 10 minute loop so that it constantly plays without any reseting.
I can put the file in pretty much any format (Quicktime, DVD, off a Mac or off a PC).
Thanks!

loop on a sound souftware... sound edit or whatever.. (i'd do it on acid)- and record it on a cd audio with a 10 minutes length track....

on quicktime, click were it says loop.
also on windows media.

if there's no syncronization with the movie, it's easy, you only need speakers, a discman and the video projectors, so this will provide public more emphasis on the installation, not on a computer....
correct me if I'm wrong...

or else... you can plug the computer to the projector and have the loop embed in the movie (running in full screen...)

take some footage import into Flash MX export as .exe and play it whatever blah blah there are a million ways to do it mate including with or without audio!

i knew how to do qt loops in full screen, but i was hoping not to connect a computer if possible. giving a dvd player and dvd would be ideal just because i wouldn't have to sacrifice a machine for a few weeks. guess i forgot to mention that. have you done this before? I know i've seen this done, and i wonder if there are any dvd studio pro tricks people know...

in the "jump when finished" or whatever box in dvd studio pro, just tell it to go back to the first scene... easy.
