verdana, arial & times. i'm not that into any of them, but i use them more than anything else.
off topic - gabe, you underlined 'typefaces' as if fonts was wrong. i'll admit my ignorance:
i always thought a typeface would be like 'helvetica bold condensed' and the font was 'helvetica'. what's the actual difference between 'font' and 'typeface'?

the term font has been used synonymously with typeface, but it's just not "gramatically correct" for a designer
a typeface is a family of fonts, and each font within the family has different characteristics, i.e. italic, bold, condensed, etc.

i was talking with a client one time and just thought i'd keep the conversation simple and used the term font (instead of possibly confusing him with typeface) and he called me out on it. needless to say i felt like a dumbass.
getting schooled by a client is never cool!

thanks. so in actual fact it was the exact opposite of what i thought.
next time i see kylie or towa tei i'll be passing that on - german bold italic indeed.

Have to mention, Horse Puke(Recfe rules), Impact(allmost Univers),Aquiline(now thats calligraphy), dirty~gotic( it´s SOO fuckéd up).

When I'm in a grungy mood, there's Dirty Ego by Recife. When I'm in a clean mood, there's Arial. And when I'm in a between-type thing and I want a hybrid, I go with NoMore Typewriters which is also by Recife. Long live Recife!
