hey kids
I currently a PC user, but i thought of getting a laptop.
I don't have a whole lot of money, but i figured i could get an Ibook, which would be my first Mac.
Now a few questions:
- how well does Photoshop run on an Ibook ?
and do you think Final Cut express would even start up ?
bye bye

I own an ibook... the last 800Mhz 12" with 640Mb RAM.
no problem with photoshop for sure... espacially if you do web stuff. But I also do some print stuff... 17"x22" 300 dpi is a bit harder on filters grey bar but its not to frustrating.
If you use it for home like some freelance , personnal project and lot of surfing, itune its just fine. Its cheap, you will have some money left to buy nice add on like sgood seakers, ipod or watherver.
But if you want using it as main computer and do lot of motion video... you moght be beter with the new Albook. They are really nice and for sure faster computer. But do you need all the options you pay for?
welcome in the mac familly switcher! ;)
