The name of the album is Godson and it's hot get the lost tapes also. Nas has always been a better M.C. than Jay Z, but you can't front Jay held it down for us consecutive summers with solid albums.

but Nas new tape is hot. However over all Jay is the clear winner, but i wouldn't even compair them on my own.

anyway, god's son is definitely nas's second best album. lyrically he is still not as good as he was in 94 but he shows glimmers of it throughout the album. the blown ego that he got after illmatic is still affecting him. production however is the best of any nas album, although alicia keys and eminem's tracks sucked.
and nas, sorry your mom died but its a bit overkill to mention her in almost every song on the album, especially when you already had a tribute song to her... not to say how you should grieve but it dragged the album down.
