i'm looking for examples of unobtrusive or better yet, hidden navigation...
two examples:

http://www.dieselmarketing.commy thought is that navigation often crowds a site and can hurt the effectiveness of the content.

the best way for things to not be obtrusive is to work together to create a harmonious piece.
