there are similarities in the borders, the buttons and the background-hovering.
Also, the certified thing is kinda "inspired" from NT as well, I'd say it has a little too much similarities, but what do I know

I like the old version too, especially the jagged edges is really like a mountain.
It also has more personality. The new one looks like a tech forum site.

Yeh old version gets an 8/10
New version gets a 6/10Perhaps its because I'm so sick of grey sites. Fonts don't work well as headlines fonts either.
I also thought the site was called "core" - that text stands out just as much as the webcliming logotext.

one other thing - ask 20 of your friends to read one of your articles on your site, then ask them how long it took them to find that section. The menu is really un-menu-like :)
