Everytime I hear or see Ben Affleck I have to hold back the uncontrollable laughter.
Everytime I see Bulleyes stupid ass scar - I have to hold back laughter.
Everytime I hear or see Kingpin, I want to laugh out loud.
Probably some of the worst casting I've seen in a long time.
Or directing, or something.These people are all wrong for this movie, and non of them are even sllightly convincing . . . How hard is it to convince people you're a comic character???
The one saving grace of that trailer - is when young Daredevil stops an old man from getting hit by a bus.
The old man being, of course, STAN LEE.The Hulk, however, could be good . . .

...go read the comic book again. He'll be alive and kicking for you once more. Bar none, Daredevil is the best mainstream book on the market right now. Bendis is on the roll of his life.
I think the movie looks godawful, but Affleck did have one more role that he was perfect for; Chasing Amy. He was great alongside Jason Lee in that one.
Seriously, pick up as much Brian Michael Bendis / Alex Maleev Daredevil as you can. It's STUNNING.
And Frank Miller turns to shit when he's involved with movies. Go look at Robocop 2 or 3. Even The Dark Knight Strikes Again wasn't so good...

him and jason lee were absolute comic genius in that flick..liked him in dazed and confused as well....

yeah, bendis is doing a great job, maleev did an awesome job too (easily one of my favorites), i haven't been following it for awhile so i dont know if maleev is still working on it (i heard the whole thing was digital, as well..)
anyway, yeah whats up with the movie..
ben affleck looks sorta like murdock sometimes, but that costume is just horrible. bullseye looks like a fairy, and kingpin is black, not that theres anything wrong with being black. ugh.

wait till you see it before you bag it...
the script is supposed to be great- even kevin smith likes it, and he is pretty harsh in such matters.
affleck used to be great, and a fellow geek- then he did a run of terrible movies. He may pull it off, just as Keanu did in the Matrix.
the kingpin and bullseye scar does annoy me though- so poorly done!
oh well, we'll see...
