I am leaving to go to Miami for a short trip. Never been. What are some cool bars or places.

the miami beach area is pretty tight. some great bars for design chic types. dim lights, dark reds and blues... plush chairs and couches... over priced drinks and ambient techno in the background...

South Beach is pretty tight : dont let the gay rumors scare you away - some of the worlds best woman are there.

i used to hung out at a place called sands in coconut grove.
its cool place, good food, surf oriented bar with bunch of college people and travellers who are young. girls are nice and hot, and good music. and lots of beer of course.
last time i went, they were giving away jack daniels shots for free.
also, coral gables is a good place to be at, lot of restaurants and bars.and south beach. south beach is the best place because everything is right there.
whn i go to miami i hung out in a weekend more than what i hung out here in new york. i just have a lot of fun. (not fun to live tho)

Check out some of the south beach clubs: Crobar, Nikki Beach, Pearl, Level, Tantra, are all pretty good.
Also downtown: Space, Spin & Living Room, for after hours 4am+ jam.
