I just received an email from Mr. Manetas regarding the relinquishment of my copyright in the Whitney Biennial project.
Has anyone else received this email?
I thought the whole ordeal left a sour taste in my mouth.
Now, the sore is reopened...

How did being in the Biennial leave a bad taste in your mouth? Just curious...

The fact that I made travel plans to go from Cincinnati to NYC to see the event, and it didn't happen?

That sucks bigtime. At least NY is a great city to have fun in, no matter what...

As my mother once said,
"Once a liar, always a liar."
Why should I even consider lifting a finger?
Hell, why should I even believe anything the email tells me?

Ok now you got me scared. Manetas has never lied to me. Always been really nice. What wrong did he do to you? Like to hear the details. I was also in the Biennial and the Neen Show. I also gave him premission for the cd.

Crap, I lived in Wisconsin at the time. Never heard about all the stuff that went down in NYC about the Uhaul, thats pretty crazy. He never informed me about that. Seems pretty crazy. All I knew about it was the gallery site, I didn't know about the promised Uhauls. Man I would feel jipped too. I don't know what to think of him now.

I think the whitneybiennial.com was very very big success.
With 0 (zero) budget it had more press than the real whitney biennial. Most of the people that participated in this(including myself) did not (at least) regret it.
