I am currently designing a site, and I'm wondering if I should make a splash page. The site has 2 major divisions and both only in french. I would promote my freelance skill in the splash. And preload the possibly rich in graphics site.
Should I do it?

splash pages aren't all that bad if they have something interesting.. like a nicely formed piece of writing about your work, maybe something humoring.. but the classic shit with the ENTER button and the FLASH requirement stuff gets old.

good for site requirements and shit... i have a random preloader on my splash so i can have 5 of them... splashes are fun... but only for certain sites... whatevers clever... post a link.
