there is an active campaing going on to smear and discredit him.
a couple of my friends have met and hung out with the guy when he visited canada, and said that he couldn't have more nice. a real charming guy...

I have no doubt that he is a nice guy at the heart of it all. But when you say shit like this in an effort to make waves and ultimately promote your work for sell, that is pitiful. He has made some valid points in the past. This is just not one of them.

A friend of mine works for a British tv channel and word is that alot of what Micheal Moore does is staged, especially some of the scenes from Bowling for Columbine.
I like the guy and I hope my friend is wrong but...

I saw an hour interview of him on a local tv station and this annoying interviewer followed him everywhere asking him dumbass questions and he was polite and not condescending with his replies.
Then they got to Michael Moore's press conference and the bouncers wouldn't let the annoying guy in because he wasn't on the list. Half way through the conference MM came out and gave the annoying guy a hug and talked with him for over 10 mins.
