That is what I feel like I am doing every time I turn on the news of late. All of the current events about terrorism, nuclear builds ups, etc. makes me feel like I am watching a Tom Clancy novel taken to the silver screen. The characters, the plots, the twists.
Where's my popcorn?
Anyone else feel like the line between real and fabricated is becoming more and more blurred?
Insert 2 cents here,

For a start, you're not watching news, you're watching entertainment. How any body can call five minute soundbite 'discussions' that revolve entirely on personality rather than fact, governed by ad breaks, ,fancy 3d graphics and 'film title' headlines as news is beyond me.
It's like watching Brasseye (UK satire tv series) but this time it's not made up.

it isn't news, it doesn't even entertain - but I've got the first few chords of disharmony singing in my brain.
this is the prelude to war, people - better learn your lines.

Do you remember during the anthrax scares when news presenters would present the story with how many people had died and then would hold up a packet of Cipro, Waynes World syle, saying "But with CIPRO, you reduce your chances of contracting this disease..."
The new is one big infomercial.
