bit of a chunky thing to be carrying around though. I get fed up of carrying the 15" version.

My Ti is amazingly heavy for something that looks so light, I think it's the Depleted Uranium chassis weighing it down.

and titanium aint hat indestructable either, i have worn mine down with my wrist by the mouse pad and it has a few wear & tear scratches that didn't take much to cause.
Its still a good machine though.

apparently the new ones don't scratch...no paint this time just "aircraft-grade aluminum, hard anodized" apparently?
Hopefully the keyboard no longer damages the screen anymore (either that or you get your branded apple cloth to put under the screen when you close it!)

Where is the titanium anyway? Titanium doesn't corrode so why did they paint them? The finish would have held up a lot better if it was just a plain titanium case.
