OT: Need some romance help..

Ok I am having some trouble here. I have a friend that I have known for a few years and things are starting to heat up. I need some help with creative and thought provoking questions that I could ask her kinda to hint towards my interest since we are both too afraid to admit that we really want to be with eachother.

Try the truth, be subtle and look for signs of her backing up, if she does'nt back up then you move forward.

Take her to dinner. Get a nice bottle of wine (preferably two). Look into her eyes and tell her you thought she looked particularly beautiful this evening (which will be true, after 2 bottles) and if she would mind if you kissed her.
Or, you could just keep ordering the wine, just go for the kiss, and if it doesn't work, you'll always have an excuse.
If she feels the same, either should work. Don't make it too drawn out, 'cause if it doesn't work out, or she doesn't feel the same, it makes for an awkward situation, potentially ruining a friendship.

during a night out on the town jokingly, but also with a serious undertone ask the question '(insert name here), if i kiss you would you kiss me back?'
if she says no, laugh hysterically and say, my god (insert name here), did you really think i was serious?!? lighten up... we're just friends!
BUT, if she says yes well then,.. the rest is self explanitory.

This is why I need some creative and thought provoking questions - if I could only break the ice or let her know without doing it directly I would be golden....dont want to ruin a good thing if you know what I mean.

simple:
after a few drinks, lean over like your going to whisper in her ear. then go for her lips. if she starts to back up, jump out of your seat and proclaim "No, I will not make out with you!"
