refreshing frameset on Mac

    I made a site using a two-column frameset. The left one has a set width value (pixels). The right frame has a 'relative' value.
    Everytime I click the refresh button on my browser (IE 5 on a Mac) the left frame gets a horizontal scroll bar but the scroll bar disappears if I click the 'go' button on the address bar. Btw, I don't have the same problem on PC's.

    Any help?
