to everyone demanding a solution to Sadam staying in power -
if you demand a solution - may i ask why are you so sure he's going to attack you asap...
because of all the weapons the inspectors found?
because you know him personally?
because the media says so?
just curious why you're so scared
how come the only thing the republicans worried about when Clinton was in power was a stained dress? why didn't saddam attack during those 8 years? why now? why didn't we worry when there wasn't a Bush in power? why are you so worried about saddam now? what happen to Osama?

So does anyone know if there are any more organised forms of protest in London? It winds me right up that Blair thinks he can kiss Bush's arse in our name.
John Pilger has been writing extensively on Iraq:
- vespa0
"Under the rules of the embargo, Iraqis are allowed less than £100 per person with which to sustain life for an entire year.
To date, the cost of the current, "secret" and illegal British bombing of Iraq is a billion pounds." - John Pilger.
Here's an outrageous concept - what if all the money that was put into attacking Iraq was put into educating and empowering the ordinary Iraqi people enough to let them overthrow Saddam themselves?

i saw the banners for tomorrow's protest hanging off the overpasses today. i think it's a great thing to have the march.
dc and it's surrounding suburbial residence needs to wake up!!! not that it only effects us, but does anyone know how conservative the metropolitan area is??? it's sick!!! everyone wants to live into their perfect world (house, mercedes, a boy, girl, dog, cat & white pickett fence) here.
do it!!! not just to stop the war, but to wake up the rest of the sleeping self-indulged citizens.
make this country better by fighting for what's right. patriotism is not necessarily peace. in this context, it's war.
