frow. you might be surprised at how much i know on the topic of religion (not just monotheism). but we shouldnt really discuss it here. i am not in the mood to start attacking anyone. not even you =)

I think protesting is a fine way to be heard. Especially when the cities are distrupted. Americans typically don't bother to care about anything unless they themselves are affected.
Also, VOTE. Even voter fraud cannot beat a landslide.
Know what your govornment is up to.
Boycott products by certain companies and industries.
Write congress. Be heard. Power is in numbers.

the funny thing about toolius is that he is soooo 'know the truth' and 'freedom of speech', yet he never lets anyone else have their own opinion. I love it! haha

very true frow about the opposing viewpoint

I too think protesting is a viable response ... when the voice becomes large enough, people do listen. So, it shuts down your precious normal American worklife for a day... I was in Seattle during the WTO protests and what happened there opened my eyes alot.

Again troops are moving in, so what does the protest do? They aren't coming back? They protested during Vietnam, but my father was forced to go and not until he almost had his arm blown off was brought home. So many people get up and protest all this stuff and in reality 90% of them have never had a loved one in the US Military and yet at the same time enjoy the freedom that military people has provided over the years. I am not saying it is a good thing to kill innocent people such as Iraqis, but there is a point to saying Hussein is a PSYCHO and should be stopped, now isn't there? Let's look at this both ways.

Hey Montreal, don't judge countries, especially one in which you are not from. Don't act as if terrorism is a good thing. It's not good anywhere! People here seem to be so fucking judgemental.

I hope there will be peace one day.

thanks for those links unfittoprint. gave me some light morning reading.
my unimportant and useless opinion is that there will never be peace among humans. violence is so instilled in us that no peace can ever last. we are a power hungry, viscious, brutal, and detestable race.
have you learned anything from this post? nope. did you waste your time reading my post? yep. does it matter? not really. why? because you rebuild and forget. humans are evil. i am no better.
moo motherfuckers. moo.

OMG...why am I getting involved in such a thread again??
*I do not hate you guys; but I just might have to disagree with some*
OK, here we go:
VIABLE?
VIABLE?
wtf, do ya mean with VIABLE?
ask Bush.
He already planned and set this war.
The whole UN is just a toy, no more then a nescessary formality (sometimes not even) to the US government....
Proof?? North-Korea: there you might find some fucking proof.....
Has Bush lost his geographical knowledge?
Oh, and speaking of terrorism, Iraq has not so much to do with terror as you might think...
Go visit Jemen, Indonesia, Sudan, Iran etc. etc.
You might find some interesting terror-links there...
So why does Bush want to send tens of thousands of troops to the Gulf??
Really, I DON'T FUCKING NOW.
And it depresses me as welll...
*Hugs Bio*

Hundreds of thousands of people will have to flee Iraq....they will do everything it takes to get to Turkey safely......these are fucking innocent people...think about it.
And just for one man? to get Saddam?
You don't believe it, do ya?

So does anyone know if there are any more organised forms of protest in London? It winds me right up that Blair thinks he can kiss Bush's arse in our name.
John Pilger has been writing extensively on Iraq:

"Under the rules of the embargo, Iraqis are allowed less than £100 per person with which to sustain life for an entire year.
To date, the cost of the current, "secret" and illegal British bombing of Iraq is a billion pounds." - John Pilger.
Here's an outrageous concept - what if all the money that was put into attacking Iraq was put into educating and empowering the ordinary Iraqi people enough to let them overthrow Saddam themselves?
