Hey everyone. I was just wondering what y'all though about incroporating polls in portfolio sites? (Good, bad, indifferent - of course depending on the types of poll questions being presented) Is it too 'webbish' to include a poll?
I couldn't resist having a go at embedding some data-driven functionality on my website and decided to have a try at re-jigging some php poll code I downloaded. You can view the poll at the bottom of the homepage of my website:
Any comments, suggestions (and of course, a litlle QAing of the functionality) would be most appreciated :-) I'm running OSX Jag and IE and everything appears smooth... but one never knows....
Many thanks in advance. Hope you have a great saturday night!

seems okay to me... i dont think it is something that would or could be a negative.
looks fine on Mac IE5, but nutscrape 4.74 is a bit buggy
what was the poll download, and is it very easy to setup?? i have been asked to set a poll up on a site for a client i have, but dont know too much tech shit like php

Hey snowtrooper. Thanks for the feedback man. I didn't even try Nutscrape 4.7 in Classic... (man, I hate that browser/platform combo :-)
Believe me, I'm no techie either... but nonetheless, managed to re-work the php code in a couple of hours. Check your email for the original code I downloaded and for an archive of the modified version I'm currently using.
btw.... I remember your help with posting some vector goodness a while back too (camo patterns?... can't remember exactly). Many thanks!
