pakuachang, I'm also a student of bagua in Chicago. Our class is very informal & somewhat of a mixture of styles.. but our instructor says the forms are mostly dragon style. I admit that I'm unaware of other forms of Bagua however.
I've been studying for about a year and a half, three times a week at first.. now it's usually one (my class is an hour+ away on the train)
I've found this site to be a rather interesting resource:
http://www.emptyflower.com/xingy…..check out the videos, there is some (poor quality) film of a 70+ year old master doing amazingly acrobatic monkey style. Nuts.

been practicing martial arts for about 6 years. For the last 2 years a style which is based around Wing Chun, but uses a lot of the strong points of other styles like gracie ju jitsu, philapino boxing, thai boxing and a few other elements.

kote - great videos, it really shows how one can use that style very effectively, and with not much pyshical effort.,
also that other site was great too. interesting style

aikido isnt a style - it is a way of thinking/going about dealing with energy.
If you have a chance, I highly recomend checking out the book "Aikido : The Dynamic Sphere" by A. Westbrook and O. Ratti.

Kiaikido is the key to everything, evrything else is just leading towards that.
