You have the skills no doubt. But I think there's a lack of consistency.
Besides the pharmaceutical series, there's no common theme. There's nothing wrong with experimenting. But I think it is a good idea develop a theme. Not just conceptually, but visually. (for me it's visually, not conceptually).
In the past I have resisted the idea of "consistency." In one sense it is sort a marketing strategy. But it has it's merits as a working process, I can assure you... but this post drags on...
Also... In many of your paintings it looks as if you really enjoy the rendering, but then forget about the rest. At least, it doesn't have the presence that the faces do. They kind of trail off to the edges of the canvas.
So what do you WANT to do with your painting?

thanks for your input thanton, it's true what youre saying...
but when i think to much about the thread in my art or what i WANT then i just loose it...right now i just have to paint it and not think to much (there is enough thinking when im working with graphic design)... as you said its only in the pharmaceutical serie that one can sense a theme...its also my latest stuff so maybe im starting to go in that direction you are talking about

Excellent paintings, I am not so sure about the typography but I really like the portraits!
U should read the book called 'Secret Knowledge' by David Hockney! Its all bout portraitpaintings, very interesting
